Where It Began....
Towana Lamkin is the Co-Owner and Manager of Elegant Touch Hair Studios. Her career began with styling hair in her dorm room while pursuing her degree in Business Management at the University of South Florida. Towana then decided that she wanted to come back to Jacksonville and build her skill set in cosmetology.
In 1998, Towana graduated from Normandy Beauty School and has been pursuing her passion for styling hair for 14+ years. As a native of Jacksonville, Towana knew the Westside was in need of a full service salon not only specializing in all aspects of hair but a salon that had a client focus. She prides herself with staffing Elegant Touch Hair Studios with skilled professionals with warm and inviting personalities. Every stylist will treat every client that walks in the door like they are the only client and will deliver hair services with an elegant touch.

Elegant Touch Hair Studio opened its doors in February of 2012 with a goal to provide affordable and professional hair care services to women with all types and textures of hair. Services include, but are not limited to silky wraps, precision cuts, locs, and natural hair techniques. When stepping into Elegant Touch Hair Studios customers can rest assured that they will walk into a relaxed atmosphere with flat screened televisions and free wi-fi for their entertainment as well as light refreshments complimentary with their hair care services. Unlike most salons, Elegant Touch Hair Studios accepts debit cards and all major credit cards for their client's convenience. This salon is a step above the rest because our clients receive speedy affordable service in an upscale environment and will always walk away knowing their hair was styled with an elegant touch.
